Love the barbecue sandwich with skins in the sandwich.

The food was great. Bbq chicken was perfect. Yes chopped pork is a little dry make sure you get plenty bbq sauce. I got the skins on the side. Not ready for the mixture with meat.

We happened upon this place as we were looking for a place to eat for my husband's birthday. It had great photos on Yelp so we decided to try it. I had the Nashville Hot Catfish with French Fries, my husband had the Ribeye with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, and my mother in law had the ribeye with seasonal vegetables. Everything was delicious!

BBQ is very good has a great taste. Prices are reasonable serving sizes good they give you plenty. We will be returning soon.

I got the pulled pork plate with skins, collard, potato salad, crackling cornbread, and sweet tea for just 11 dollars! Best BBQ and sides in Augusta, I’ll definitely be back!

Old school skins wash pot...southern style country barbecue

Customer service was okay at best. Ordered one order of ribs with regular sauce and one with the hot (described as hot enough to bring a tear to your eye). The regular tasted like ketchup, the hot was a little more tangy and had a bit of black pepper spicy-ness to it, but wasn't anything crazy. At ~1pm on a weekday they were out of half their sides; I can understand running out of meat, smoking things takes time, but when you're out of Mac and Cheese by 1pm something's wrong. The food was good, not great, the prices were too high for the quality, and the selection wasn't great.

Old time BBQ is not gone. We "The Three Amigos BBQ Hounds" found this place in South Augusta on Old Savannah Rd. Three generations making the real deal on hickory smoking BBQ racks. Better than Scott's in Hemingway SC I know cause I been to both. . Super nice folks. Hash is very good. It is a take out BBQ place.

I thought the prices were very good. For example, they have a turkey leg for $10, but it is very big. My brother ordered ribs and pulled pork for his family. Hands down, everyone loved the ribs and wished they had ordered more. The food they had smelled really good and I liked their signature BBQ sauce, enough to buy more of it to take back home.

We are from Ky and used to having pit smoked BBQ. Been in Augusta 33 years and tried several BBQ places. Perry's is the ONLY good one we've had. Restaurant appearance could be better, but the food is great!

I love Perry's. It's been a staple in the hood since I was a child. The food is good and the service is fast. I have a lot of favorites but my favorite order is the BBQ sandwich with extra skins and mild sauce on the side. The mix of the crunchy skins and the softness of the shredded BBQ is like joy in your mouth.

Still the best barbecue in Augusta hands down

Quintessential rough and tumble, no frills Bbq joint. Order a sandwich and you will get a big ole pile of pork on bun, and with the option of adding chopped skins which I highly recommend, it's a sandwich that will scratch the itch of even the most particular bbq fan.

This must be a Augusta thing... the food here is gross🤢! The meat was old and greasy, the collard greens, hash and rice even down to the sweet tea was nasty af. We spent almost $30 on rib dinners because someone suggested to eat there, they said "The food there is good". We ended up throwing all the food in the trash and went to Red Lobster spending more money to eat decent food. I should have went with my first thought and got the hell out of there when we walked in. The chick that took our order was not very welcoming plus she had a bed scarf wrapped around her head like she had just rolled out bed.... is that how they serve customers?!? I didn't even see an inspection score posted anywhere and clearly I thought that is supposed to be posted for people to see! Do better Perry's Pig because you never know who is in town stopping by and will write something about the food and service 😔😝😕🤢👎👎👎

Love this place.... the crunches on top!! OMG delicious. :) Perry's been around for a while. We use to come when I was much younger and it's still a good place to get BBQ at an affordable price.

Not at all what it used to be. I ended up throwing the hash away. The bbq sandwich and cracklins was still pretty good.

It was okay, definitely not spectacular in any way. Word to the wise buy the extra sauce or you'll find yourself choking on dry food.

Came here while visiting from D.C. and heard great things from my family about the food. The service was a No for me. The cashier laughed at me when I misread the misspelled menu. I couldn’t get sides larger than a 4oz cup even though 6oz cups were set out. I could go on but I’ll just say I could’ve spent my $26 better for how I was treated #supportingblackbusinesses

I was very disappointed in the food today. I haven't been there in years so I told my fiance I wanted to eat from there today. The quality was not like when Mr. Perry was there , I won't be going back. They are overpriced and the pulled pork sandwich was dry as well as the skins. Sorry , bad review for this takeout restaurant.
